First time for everything: English rose Elizabeth Hurley watches first ever cricket match to cheer on Australian boyfriend in India

She is that most English of actresses who you'd presume had spent a lifetime in pavilions watching over after over - but Elizabeth Hurley confessed that she'd watched her very first cricket match today.
The 45-year-old star, who describes herself as a 'mum, model, actress, bikini designer and organic farmer' had flown out to India with nine-year-old son Damian to support her on-off boyfriend Shane Warne, 41, play with his Rajasthan Royals against the Kings XI Punjab.
But she may have surprised many when she wrote tonight on her official Twitter account: 'Just watched my first cricket game & couldn't have enjoyed it more. Except, of course, if we'd won. Next time. Inshallah!'

Elizabeth and Damian arrived in India on Tuesday and despite the to-ing and fro-ing between them following claims he has cheated on her, it seems her relationship is very much back on, seeing as she'd taken her son.
In fact, it was the first time that Warne had been pictured with both Elizabeth and her Damian.
And for her visit to the cricket match today, Elizabeth had certainly made an effort with her appearance too as she supported her man from the stands, wearing a plunging pink top covered in butterflies and flowers with skinny blue jeans and lots of gold bangles.
The normally-poised actress totally lost her cool however when her man's team did well, screaming and cheering and waving her hands in the air.

Last week, cricket legend Shane had even asked her advice regarding a pre-match ritual to give them luck in their game.
Liz had joked: '@warne888 Hmmmm.....how about you all hold hands in the dressing room & say a few Hail Marys or chant a collective Om?'
Warne is the captain of the Royals, but couldn't rally his team to win today, and KXIP won by 48 runs.

However, off the pitch in public, Shane seemed to be playing down his relationship with Austin Powers star Elizabeth.
Writing on his Twitter regarding some ongoing banter between them regarding face cream, he said: '@ElizabethHurley moisturizer is running out - more please ! More hydrationist as well - its awesome - hope that not pushing the friendship!'
Facecream notwithstanding, she decided to fly to her lover's side to cheer him on for the first match in the Indian Premier League.
The pair, who met last summer at Royal Ascot, were first spotted having a romantic rendezvous in December and the actress revealed that she had separated from husband of four years, Arun Nayar.

However, later that month their relationship was rocked by claims he'd been sending flirty texts to a neighbour in Melbourne.
They appeared to patch things up after that and she flew to Australia to be with him in February.
But she soon returned to the UK after allegations emerged that spinbowler Shane had bedded porn star Chloe Conrad.
Nevertheless, last month the pair were spotted dining out in Los Angeles together suggesting their romance had been rekindled.

A notorious philanderer, Warne split from wife Simone, the mother of his children Brooke, 13, Jackson, 11 and Summer, 8, after a string of affairs, including a notorious sex text scandal in 2000 which saw him stripped of his Australian vice-captaincy.
They divorced in 2007, but got back together in 2009 for a trial reunion and were living together with their children in Melbourne when Shane was first linked with Elizabeth.
He confirmed in December that they had split 'a while ago'.
