Bollywood actress Preity Zinta pulled off a stunt by jumping off the wall of a toilet at the Delhi airport after she got stuck inside there for more than 10 minutes.
“Spent 10 minutes stuck in the toilet at the airport…Finally had to climb the wall and jump over… People were calling out my name,” Preity posted on her Twitter page on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old says she felt she would die in there, but managed to escape.
“Thought I was going to die as I am claustrophobic. Pulled a muscle in my arm…,” she added.
She says her tomboy attitude helped her come out of the toilet.
“Being a tomboy when I was younger definitely helped. Trying to climb a wall is never easy. Phew! Happy to go home now,” she said.

Reluctant to speak Preity says, "It’s true. I’ve adopted these 34 girls. I’ll be looking after their entire upbringing from education to food, clothes , etc.

You’ve no idea how wonderful it feels to hear the excited chatter of all those girls together as they welcome you into their lives. Believe you me, it’s the best birthday song I’ve ever heard."
Preity doesn’t intend to be a sleeper parent for the girls at the Mother Miracle. "No way Those are my children now, my responsibility. I’ll be constantly connected with them and I’ll visit them in Rishikesh twice a year."
Far from finishing off her responsibility after financing these girl children, Preity plans to progressively enhance her social responsibilities. "For a while now I’ve been thnking of what to do to help the less privileged classes specially the girl child. The horrors of foeticide and rampant child abuse are not just screaming news headlines for me.

They’re voices that scream from inside me. And I had to listen to them. These 34 girls are just a beginning . I plan to adopt a couple more every year during my birthday. I can’t think of a better gift to myself." -

(NSI News Source Info) February 4, 2009: Apart from Bollywood bigwigs, including Shahrukh Khan, Farah Khan, Chunky Pandey and others at her birthday bash at her flat in Quantum Park building in Bandra on Saturday, Preity Zinta also had some unwanted visitors in the party. It was the Mumbai police patrol team who had to after slum-dwellers in the neighbourhood complained of loud music early Sunday morning. The police ordered them to turn down the volume of the loudspeakers and said that the actress will be penalised as per the provisions for flouting noise pollution rules.
A local resident, Irfan Shaikh, said that very loud music was played in the party which started late Saturday and continued till the early hours Sunday.
“Whenever there is music or programmes in the slum areas, these people in big buildings complain against us and we have to shell out large fines. We also get disturbed and so we complained to the police,” he told media persons here Sunday morning.
Well, this was an irresponsible act from Zinta who has always shown her social responsibility and did so yet again on her birthday when she adopted orphaned girls from Mother Miracle School in Hrishikesh. As their guardian, Preity will take care of finances for their basic needs like food, clothing and education.

Her Kings XI Punjab will be holding a cricket seminar and a small 20-20 tournament in Chandigarh and Mohali where teams from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir will participate.
“My aim is to promote cricket at the grassroot level and to nurture new talent. I also want everyone involved to have fun,” Priety said.

After all, SRK has been part of almost all the hits Yash Raj Films has seen in the last two years. However, Mumbai Mirror reports that Chopra Sr. is keen to star Aamir Khan across Preity Zinta for his next film, which will be an out-and-out romance in true Yash Chopra style.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, "as seen in earlier films directed by Yash Chopra it is the heroine who plays a crucial role in it. The story demanded a heroine exuding absolute purity and innocence and Yash Chopra has roped in Preity for it. The story encapsulates the journey of two strangers who meet and share deep love in old age too."

Apparently, Chopra plans to make this film very quickly by shooting in July and releasing the film in December. Even Aditya Chopra made Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi within a year or so. Like father like son!

Preity has reportedly already signed the film and talks are on with Aamir at the moment, who is basking in the success for Ghajini and shooting for Three Idiots simultaneously. If this one works out, it would certainly be a casting coup.
