Agneepath Movie Information

Agneepath is an action thriller film remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. It is produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Johar’s former assistant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan will play the lead role, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Priyanka Chopra will be the female lead. The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake. The main villain will be played by Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor will play another negative character. It has been reported thatZarina Wahab will play Hrithik’s mother. Shooting took place in Mumbai’s film city and Diu, India.

In fact, it was the look of the character which impressed Juhi more than the length of the role in the film. Her blonde look has been designed by B Blunt’s Avan Contractor. Juhi plays the character of Minty Rolly, the producer’s (Rishi Kapoor) wife.“When Zoya offered me the role I was extremely thrilled, even though I was told it was not a big role, I dint mind, it was different from all the other characters I have played before, and that was the most exciting part. Playing Minty was so much fun! And moreover I got to color my hair blonde, which also was something I had never done before.” says Juhi.
Luck By Chance is produced by Excel Entertainment in association with Big Pictures and marks the directorial debut of Zoya Akhtar and stars Farhan Akhtar, Konkona Sen Sharma, Isha Sharvani, Sanjay Kapoor, Juhi Chawla, Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Hrithik Roshan. It is slated to release on the 30th of January 2009.

(NSI News Source Info) January 19, 2009: Rishi Kapoor plays a very important role in Rakeysh Mehra’s Delhi 6 with Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead. And Rishi really admires Abhishek Bachchan saying,
“A very smart and a handsome six foot two inches; in fact taller than his father, Abhi is a very well spoken, educated and a cultured boy. A very fine actor.” Elaborating on his words he cant help talk about this one scene he has with Abhishek where he was greatly impressed with Abhishek’s acting skills.
He says, “There is one very important scene I have in the film. It’s important for the film, to me and Abhi where I am speaking most of the lines. I am trying to tell him that don’t lose out on your girl whom you love (Sonam), otherwise you’ll turn up like me, like what my character is in the film is. Now here’s the twist.
Abhishek doesn’t say anything. He is just looking at me speechless. And the way he has done the scene, hats off to him. I haven’t seen the film yet but he was brilliant in that scene.
The way he has underplayed that scene is worth a standing ovation. My sincere kudos to him and thus I couldn’t stop myself from sending him the text message congratulating him”.
