played the character ugly Jassi with élan and later partnered with cricketer Harbhajan Singh to win ‘Ek Khiladi, Ek Haseena’, was in Jallandhar recently to meet Bhajji’s parents. Mona just dropped by at Bhajji’s house and enjoyed the special Punjabi hospitality.She is yet to get over the Bhajji phenomenon, which had engulfed her when the dashing cricketer showed his dancing skills during the show. Mona and Bhajji still keep in touch and that was the reason when she happened to visit Jallandhar, she made it a point to visit Bhajji’s parents.
However, on the acting front Mona is still averse to Saas -bahu saga and prefers reality shows over them. The feisty actress is satisfied with her cameo in ‘Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengee’, as it gives her a lot of free time to do other things.Meanwhile, Mona Singh’s debut film opposite Adnan Sami does not seem to have any future, as producer T-series and director Bela Sehgal are in no mood to restart the movie. Sources say that the main reason for this was Adnan Sami, who lost around 100 kg and was no longer fat.
As the film was a comedy and based on a fat man, it does not have any raison d'être, when Adnan has lost his fat. So, Mona’s debut film has no chance of seeing light of the day.
