However Salman Khan who is a fitness addict did not like Ayesha’s plump look in a song for their upcoming Boney Kapoor’s flick Wanted Dead or Alive.
Salman had shot a song with Ayesha in Bangkok, but when he saw the song he did not like it and asked Boney to re shoot the whole song. Boney agreed and shot Ayesha in such a way that she looks slim. A source reveals, “Ayesha is a very pretty and talented girl. She reshot for the song without any nakhras. It is unlikely that she knew why she was made to reshoot the song which she had already shot for in Bangkok.”
When Ayesha was also quizzed about the same on sms, she replied, “I don’t know about this. At the moment, we are shooting two new songs.”
However Boney tells a different story, “Well, I did reshoot a song for Wanted… And yes, I had shot that song at a nightclub in Bangkok. But I didn’t reshoot it in Mumbai just because Salman asked me to. When I saw some shots of the Bangkok song I had second thoughts about it simply because I didn’t like the backdrop. That’s why I erected a new lavish set in Mumbai. It has worked out well this time.”
Do you think its high time Ayesha got rid of her puppy fat?

Bollywood: Terror In Mumbai By Terrorists

South Australian restaurateur Nick Papazahariakis - I saw a man executed in Mumbai
(NSI News Source Info) November 27, 2008: A PROMINENT Adelaide restaurateur has told of his horror at seeing a man executed in cold blood by terrorists in the Mumbai rampage.
Speaking to AdelaideNow from the Pancharatna Restaurant in south Mumbai a short time ago, Nick Papazahariakis described how he watched an innocent bystander shot by terrorists about 10m from where they were dining.Audio: I saw terrorist execution CLICK ON LINK TO LISTEN
He is in Mumbai for the wedding of his daughter Chloe, who is stranded with him in a restaurant as they wait for the all-clear from authorities.
"The terrorists stole a police car and then the police jumped into a taxi to chase them, and the terrorists killed a man at point-blank range about 10m from us," he said.
"The entire city of Mumbai is virtually in lockdown and there is a ring around it with police everywhere.
"There's about nine of us inside the restaurant with two or three staff. We are OK and are being looked after very well."
They have been stuck inside the restaurant for more than nine hours and are waiting for news from authorities before they can leave.
"We don't really know what's going on yet. It's a difficult situation to be in and with all the cars driving around we don't know if they're being driven by the police or the terrorists," said Mr Papazahariakis, who owns Chloe's Restaurant in Kent Town.
The group is keeping up-to-date with the latest news on the terror attacks by watching two televisions inside the restaurant.
In a lucky twist, Mr Papazahariakis said the group he is dining with were initially going to eat out at Leopold's Restaurant, which was one of the first sites targeted by terrorists.
"Because some of the people were too far away to meet us there, we decided at the last minute to come to this restaurant," he said.
"Then as we sat here watching the TV we heard that Leopold's was attacked by a taxi bomb, and was one of the first things that started all this happening.
"We feel it's fate that's brought us here so we just cross ourselves and hope that this can all be over soon.
"We're about 300m from a hospital, which apparently has about 40 to 50 hostages inside and we're between 500m and 1km from the Taj Mahal, where we had drinks before we came out."
Mr Papazahariakis, who is staying at the Marriott Hotel, is in Mumbai for Chloe's wedding to Bollywood star Puneet Vasishtha.
"The wedding is supposed to start tomorrow night and go for five days but we're not sure just yet whether we can proceed with it," he said.
Depsite the volatility of the situation, Mr Papazahariakis retained his sense of humour.
"The food is great but we're slowly running out of cigarettes," he laughed.
Ms Papazahariakis is among several stranded Australians to have got their witness accounts out to media, despite the horror and the desperate need to hide from Islamic fanatics hunting down tourists as hostages.
Ms Papazahariakis - who is in Mumbai ahead of her wedding to Bollywood star Puneet Vasishtha - told the Nine Network that Mumbai is in "total lockdown".
"I've just moved to this beautiful city to marry my husband in four days and I've got about 20 friends here for the wedding in the midst of all this chaos," Ms Papazahariakis said.
"The terrorists are on a rampage and are not stopping."
Ms Papazahariakis, 31, was speaking from the restaurant where her reception is to be held.
She said a nearby hospital had been bombed by terrorists and the death toll had reached 82, with at least 150 others wounded.
"They are targeting every suburb in this city but the most tragic thing is that for the first time ever they are targeting big-time foreigners and five-star hotels," she said.
"There have been a lot of bombs in India and they normally target marketplaces and the poorer society but where we are at the Taj Mahal Hotel, an historical hotel, they have eight foreign hostages.
"They've got hand grenades and police are very worried they are suicide bombers.
"They are on a rampage - it's full-on and they are not stopping."
Her father Nick - the owner of Chloe's restaurant at Kent Town - has told of his horror at seeing a man executed in cold blood.
A spokesman for his restaurant said Nick, Chloe and Chloe's mum Pat were in Mumbai for the wedding.
Another Adelaide tourist in Mumbai - Martin McCarthy, 18 - has told how sleeping in this morning may have saved his life.
TV star Brooke Satchwell is also among Australians trapped in the Mumbai hell zone.

Terrorists hit Bollywood hometown
Troops move in after at least 101 killed, 287 wounded

By Jonathan Landreth
Updated: Nov 27, 2008, 02:12 AM ET
BANGKOK -- The heart of Bollywood, the world's largest film industry by number of annual productions, was reeling Thursday from 16 coordinated terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India, that killed 101 and wounded 287 overnight.
The five-star Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, an institution that is to Bollywood what the Carlton is to Cannes or The Beverly Hills Hotel was to Hollywood of a bygone era, was aflame in India's financial capital most of the night after young gunmen stormed the place shooting guests and demanding the identity of U.S., U.K. and other Western passport holders.
Six foreign nationals are reported among the dead, and by midday in India Thursday, the standoff at the hotel continued.
Australian TV star Brooke Satchwell, who is in Mumbai on a three-week shoot, was in a production meeting inside the Taj on Wednesday when gunmen stormed the hotel firing automatic weapons.
"We felt a little bit like sitting ducks," Satchwell told radio 3AW of Australia, adding that she and others hid in a hotel toilet stall until they were ushered past dead bodies in the lobby by hotel security and into the street, where chaos reigned.
Satchwell said she maintained contact with her colleagues trapped inside the hotel via mobile phone short text message.
The identities of dozens of guests unaccounted for in the Taj and another five-star hotel attacked, the Oberoi Trident, could include members of the global media and entertainment industries who over the years have frequented both establishments when paying visits to Bollywood to do business.
Fourteen of the 16 terror targets hit Wednesday night, including a movie theater, were downtown, in the southern half of Mumbai, far from most of the Bollywood movie studios in the northern half of the city of 19 million on India's West coast.
A spokesperson for Sony Pictures Entertainment said the studio would continue to monitor events and that as of midday, there were no known injuries to SPE employees or damage to SPE facilities.
The attacks cast a shadow on a major new cricket tournament scheduled to start across India on Dec. 3 and due to be broadcast by ESPN Star Sports, which last week announced a 10-year contract for worldwide broadcast rights.
Three Australian cricket teams canceled travel to Mumbai, ruling out their participation in the Twenty20 Champions League International tournament.Sharma Paras, ESPN Star's senior director of communications, said it was too early to be thinking about the tournament.
"We are shocked by the attacks and mourn the sad loss of lives in the Mumbai incidents overnight. We share in the worldwide concern about the safety of people still under threat," said Paras, adding that ESPN Star Sports and tournament organizers would be monitoring the situation. The attacks, which also targeted hospitals, the main Mumbai railway station and the popular tourist restaurant Cafe Leopold, occurred on day four of the 39th International Film Festival of India, the country's most prestigious annual cinema event. Organizers of the festival -- held in Panaji, 593 km (369 mi) south of Mumbai -- could not be reached for comment. The terror attacks come just weeks after Mumbai-based industrialist Anil Ambani spent $550 million to back Steven Spielberg in the formation of a new movie studio in close partnership with his company Reliance Big Entertainment.
Gunjan Bagla, a Los Angeles-based economist who advises The Walt Disney Co. in its work in India, said the attacks would further bind India and the United States together. "We are the world's largest democracies and the world's largest entertainment industries. The horrible attacks in Mumbai underscore the fact that dastardly opponents of freedom, peace and multiculturalism hate both countries in the same manner," Bagla told The Hollywood Reporter. The terrorist attacks were spread throughout the city's business district, with horrifying images of dead and wounded in the streets, the local train station and other sites hitting world media outlets. Images of the burning Taj hotel, flames leaping and plumes of smoke filling the air, were being broadcast hour after hour on the world's 24-hour news channels as the city went into a state of lockdown.
By midday in India Thursday, authorities had not released the names of the dead and wounded.
An organization calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen claimed it was behind the attacks, television channels said. The previously little-known group sent an e-mail to news organizations claiming responsibility.
"I guess they were after foreigners, because they were asking for British or American passports," said Rakesh Patel, a British witness who lives in Hong Kong and was staying at the Taj on business. "They had bombs."
"They came from the restaurant and took us up the stairs," he told the NDTV news channel, soot staining his face. "Young boys, maybe 20 years old, 25 years old. They had two guns."India has suffered a wave of bomb attacks in recent years. Most have been blamed on Islamist militants, although police have also arrested suspected Hindu extremists thought to be behind some of the attacks.
Hemant Karkare, the chief of the police anti-terrorist squad in Mumbai, was killed during the latest attacks, police said.In Washington, the White House and President Elect Barack Obama condemned the attacks.A European official was among the wounded.
"My hotel is surrounded by police and there are gunmen inside," European lawmaker Ignasi Guardans told Spanish radio from the Taj. "We are in contact with some deputies inside the hotel, with one in a room and another hidden in the kitchen. There's another official hurt and in hospital.
"Indian Home Minister Shivraj Patil said there were around four or five attackers in each of the two hotels hit."They have attacked hotels, they have attacked the hospitals, they have attacked the railway station," he said, adding that two attackers had been killed and two arrested.

Soha Ali Khan Scared of Driving Cars

Soha Ali Khan Scared of Driving Cars
(NSI News Source Info) November 26, 2008: Soha Ali Khan who proved that she is a brave girl by deciding to live on her own despite having her big brother in town has revealed that what scares her the most is driving cars.

In some films, where Soha was required to drive a car, she tactfully avoided it but she couldnt do that for Dil Kabaddi.
Soha tells us, “I am a very bad driver. In fact I get really scared if I have to drive. I never shot driving scenes in my previous films, but then for this particular shot in Dil Kabaddi I had to drive at the marine drive 7 o clock in the morning. We had made my personal driver to sit at the back seat to instruct me while I was supposed to drive. He helped me but then I was very stressed out for the shoot.”
Debutante director, Anil Senior Sharma adds, “Soha had told me she hates driving and is scared of doing that but we couldn’t avoid the scene. We had to coax her and convince her that she could do it well. I made her take eight to ten rounds just to increase her confidence before actually shooting for the scene. She did it easily but one can see the tension on her face. I must say she managed it well in the end.”
I’m curious to see her expressions in that scene.

Celina Jaitley’s Birthday Wishlist

Celina Jaitley’s Birthday Wishlist
(NSI News Source Info) November 26, 2008: Celina Jaitley has tasted a little bite of the so-called success of Golmaal Returns but she still feels she is unlucky, especially in love. She celebrated her 27th birthday on 24th November without the ’someone special’ in her life.

“So maybe for my birthday, god will grant me romance and love. About time I got lucky in love,” Celina told IANS.
Nevertheless, something good came up with the absence of love in her life. She spent her birthday partying with destitute girls at Regina Spaces she threw a party at the NGO premises for them.
“I threw a birthday party for my girls. Nothing makes me happier than seeing them smile. Wish my family was here.”
Celina’s family too couldn’t make it to Mumbai for the occasion and her pet dog made sure she doesnt have a peaceful day before her birthday.
“So for me it was not a very happy birthday. My parents left Mumbai and my dog didn’t take well to their absence. So she swallowed plastic. The entire day before my birthday the vet was trying to pull the plastic out of her throat. Not a very pleasant way to bring in my birthday.”
She didnt have anyone to gift her anything so she gifted herself a brand new BMW.
“I need that boost. I’ve been working hard and my ‘Golmaal Returns’ is a hit. So I need to indulge myself. I know a girl’s best friend are diamonds. But she needs a posh car to get to the jewellery store. So a BMW,” said Celina.
Its not always bad to be alone on birthdays isn’t it… especially if you can afford a BMW.

Chinese Movie Star Gong Li Taken Singaporean Citizenship

Chinese Movie Star Gong Li Taken Singaporean Citizenship
(NSI News Source Info) BEIJING - November 26, 2008: News that popular Chinese movie star Gong Li has taken Singaporean citizenship has lit up online forums in China.
The 43-year-old actress, born in Liaoning Province, northeast of China, got her Singaporean citizenship certificate at a ceremony last Saturday.
A survey by Tencent.com found that while 42.4 percent of 6,580 respondents so far said they respected her personal choice and 30.3 percent said they didn't care, 27.3 percent called her move "unpatriotic."
Gong won fame in films such as "Red Sorghum" and 'Raise the Red Lantern" before making a mark in Hollywood with roles in "Memoirs of a Geisha" and "Miami Vice." She married Singaporean tobacco executive Ooi Hoe Seong in 1996.
Gong's cyber-backers said that as her husband was a Singaporean, it was quite normal for her to switch citizenship. But others disagreed, saying that her link with China was the source of her fame.
The furor drew the mainstream media's attention.
China Youth Daily, a Beijing-based mass circulation newspaper, carried a comment on Tuesday, saying that the public should not make a fuss as it was a personal freedom to change one's citizenship in a globalized world.
It said the reason for the outcry was the belief that celebrities could switch their citizenship much more easily than ordinary people, and they could enjoy the benefits and rights of their new citizenship.

Shahrukh to receive top Malaysian honour on December 6, 2008
(NSI News Source Info) November 25, 2008: Shahrukh Khan was originally scheduled to receive the award on November 29 but the ceremony had to be postponed until December 6.
The Bollywood heartthrob will now receive a top Malaysian honorary title equivalent to British knighthood next month dressed in a traditional Malay outfit, a top official said on Monday. The 42-year-old actor was named by the southern Malacca state to receive the Datukship for his key role in popularising the state as a tourist destination by shooting two films there, including the highly popular One 2 Ka Four .
Khan will be presented the award, which carries the title "Datuk" after the 2001 film set in Malacca boosted the states profile. State Secretary Omar Kaseh said the actor would don the traditional official black Malay costume and a songkok (headgear) to receive the award on December 6.
"From the beginning (Shah Rukh) had agreed to come to Malacca and gave several dates but the ones given were not suitable for the state as they fell on work days," Kaseh said.
"It will be the first time that an international Bollywood star is given the honour of donning the official Malay costume, which would be viewed by the entire world," he said in a statement. However, the move has stirred controversy, with many Malaysians writing letters to newspapers saying it was wrong to honour a foreigner when there are many deserving local artists.

Bhutanese King

Bhutanese King
(NSI News Source Info) November 24, 2008: The Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan crowned a young Oxford-educated bachelor as its new king, just six months after abolishing absolute monarchy to become the world’s youngest democracy.

Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, 28, became the youngest reigning monarch on the planet when he was handed the Raven Crown by his father, the former King Jigme Singye Wangchuck, in an ornate ceremony in the nation’s capital Thimpu

The former King, who is 52, abdicated two years ago as part of a plan to democratise the insular Buddhist nation of 635,000 people, wedged between Indian and China, which had no roads until the 1960s and allowed television only in 1999

Also at the ceremony were the former King’s four wives, who are all sisters

Demi Moore: Return of the goddess

Demi Moore: Return of the goddess
(NSI News Source Info) November 24, 2008: After a midcareer panning and time out with the kids, Demi Moore is back - and she makes for a formidable fortysomething.
Sometimes you expect a diva. Demi Moore certainly seemed to be displaying the wilfulness of Hollywood royalty. As I got off the plane in Los Angeles, I had a message to say my interview with her had been cancelled. The following afternoon, after a flurry of calls and e-mails, I am waiting, at barely an hour’s notice, outside Moore’s home in Beverly Hills. A large black 4x4 sweeps into the driveway, disgorging a driver and a woman with shiny black hair and massive, face-obscuring, movie-star sunglasses. Moore, I presume.
Sometimes you expect a diva. But you can be disappointed. As Demi Moore, for it is she, leads the way into her large, modern, canyon-top home - which she shares with Ashton Kutcher, her third and much younger husband, and her three daughters by her former husband Bruce Willis - she’s breathlessly apologetic. “I’m so sorry. Everything’s been so rushed and crazy.”
She has just flown in, she explains, from New Mexico, where she’s shooting a new film. She’s in LA for one night, for the premiere of the first film she’s ever directed, one of three socially conscious short films sponsored by Glamour magazine each year. She’s obviously anxious. “I invited Ridley Scott and Paul Haggis,” she says. “What was I thinking?” And she had worried that she wouldn’t have the time or focus for an interview. She was also, touchingly, concerned about disappointing someone expecting to meet a major movie star, perhaps even a diva. “Is it okay if I’m not looking my most stellar?" she says she asked her publicist.
“So, anyway,” she tells me, “you’re getting me at my, you know, throw-on-my-clothes, drove-my-kid-to-school-this-morning, no-make-up, regular, everyday self.”
What’s really flattering, though, is that she’s squeezing me in between what I’m sure are much more pressing appointments for her today: with her pedicurist, from where she has just returned, and her stylist, who’s coming over later.
So that’s how I come to be in Moore’s high-ceilinged, glass-walled living room. The actress herself, slight and fragile, with surprisingly delicate features, is sitting crosslegged on a cushion on the floor. She’s in faded jeans, turned up at the ankles, a tight tartan sweater, barefoot, her toenails a newly shiny black. And she’s giving me her full attention. She has a very direct gaze, which is pretty disarming. She looks astonishingly - and naturally - young, considering she’s 46. Which I can’t help blurting out after a few minutes.
“Well, that’s very kind of you,” she says, giggling and blushing like an adolescent girl. Even beautiful Hollywood actresses, it seems, are not immune to a little well-directed flattery.
I’m thinking about her age for a couple of reasons. First, it is really tough in Hollywood for actresses in their late forties.
“Yes, that’s an absolute truth,” she acknowledges. “And, yet, it’s like all things in life: it’s a challenge that you have to find ways to make interesting for yourself. But I do have moments of frustration.”
It must be particularly hard for Moore, because after she had been Hollywood’s biggest actress for a number of years, she decamped to Idaho when her marriage to Willis fell apart in the late 1990s, devoting herself to raising their three children.
“But I don’t feel bitter or angry,” she wants to make clear. “At the time, I wasn’t thinking whether it was bad for my career.
It just didn’t matter. Recognising what my brother and I went through as children, I just knew my children needed to be grounded. And, really, it was a tremendous gift for myself. I wouldn’t trade what I have with my children, who they are today, for having a bigger pay cheque and a bigger career. But, yes, I did take a long period off, at what really would be have been my prime time for leading-lady roles.”
I’m also thinking about her age because the first shot of Moore in her latest film shows her aged to look as if she’s in her mid-seventies. In Flawless, a diverting thriller set in 1960s London, directed by Michael Radford - who made Il Postino and 1984 - Moore plays an executive in a large diamond company whose career, in the very male business world of those times, is thwarted by the glass ceiling. In cahoots with a janitor, played by Michael Caine, Moore’s character helps orchestrate the theft of a fortune in diamonds. But the film opens in the present day, as a journalist sits down with Moore’s now much older character and says, offhandedly, “I want to know your story.” The journalist gets a great deal more than she bargained for.
Which is how it is with Demi Moore, I feel. Perhaps inadvertently, she has been the most surprisingly intriguing and consistently controversial female American star of the past 25 years. At different times and for different reasons, her roles and her body have become social and cultural touchstones, focal points for often intense debates about women’s status in a postfeminist America, and also about women’s relationships to their own bodies.
Before there was Julia Roberts, before Nicole Kidman or Reese Witherspoon, there was Demi Moore. It’s hard to believe, but she has been a star since the early 1980s, when she made Blame It on Rio and St Elmo’s Fire. That earned her a spot as a founder member of the so-called Brat Pack, young stars, including Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez and Molly Ringwald, who appeared in a string of coming-of-age movies in the mid1980s. Over the next decade Moore, beautiful and driven, left her contemporaries in the dust. By the early 1990s, she had become the top female star in Hollywood, appearing in a run of hugely successful films, including Ghost, A Few Good Men and Indecent Proposal. She excelled at playing women striving for a place in a male world, but still vulnerable and feminine.
Her big moment of cultural notoriety came away from the screen when, in 1991, she appeared naked and extremely pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair, just her arm covering her breast. There was a huge fuss in America, with some stores selling the magazine wrapped in brown paper, as if it were porn. “The whole shoot was geared around expressing how I felt about myself as a pregnant woman,” she says. “So I didn’t even think about it being provocative. I never imagined the impact it would have, and still has.”
The Vanity Fair cover, though, started a focus on Moore’s body that culminated, pretty disastrously, in two movies that all but capsized her career in the mid1990s, Striptease and GI Jane. Moore was paid $12.5m for Striptease, then the highest fee ever paid to an actress. Feminists were furious that she was being paid that record amount for playing a stripper, particularly as it seemed she was showing off breasts that had been surgically enhanced.
Overcompensating perhaps, Moore then played, in GI Jane, a Navy Seal trainee, a woman so aggressively masculine that her hair was shaved and she could do one-armed push-ups without breaking a sweat. Moore agrees that the focus on her body became obsessive and unhealthy. She believes it stemmed from a yearning for approval caused by her traumatic childhood. “Dysfunction or difficulty in childhood really creates such an enormous lack of self-esteem and confidence,” she says. “You have to find a sense of value that comes from within, not, as it was at times for me, from ego, from external things like success in my career. But that’s hard when you grow up without a sense of self-worth.”
Moore was born Demetria Gene Guynes in Roswell, New Mexico. Guynes was her stepfather’s name, her biological father having left her mother after just two months of marriage. It wasn’t until she was in her teens that Moore discovered who her real father was. By then the family had moved more than 40 times as her stepfather, who later committed suicide, sought work. Her home life was shambolic, destabilised by constant fights between her alcoholic parents. Moore also suffered serious medical problems as a child. She was cross-eyed and for a while wore an eye patch, until an operation corrected the problem. She also nearly died from a kidney disease. But these feelings of childhood inadequacy created a powerful ambition in her, which found a focus when a friend, the actress Nastassja Kinski, suggested she should try acting.
“It creates an incredible sense of drive towards overcoming, proving you’re valuable, that you have a purpose and a sense of worth,” she says. “The problem comes when you can’t let go of the child in you
that still needs that approval. But I think the difficult times I had in my childhood also gave me the strength to cope with many other things in my life. Those are the things that give us the colours that make us who we are.”
For Moore, the approval she had always yearned for, the years of critical acclaim and public admiration, were ripped away with Striptease and GI Jane. I wonder how that felt. “It didn’t feel good at all, and it’s very tough feeling like a victim. It felt like it was out of my control. There were things that came out months before Striptease was even released, tearing it apart; and nobody had seen it. The biggest problem came from the public reporting of my fee. It was tough. It was frustrating.
“But if you look at a lot of people’s careers, there tends to be a cycle,” she adds. “And I guess it was just my turn. But it definitely didn’t encourage me to want to step back into the game. It was my children who finally said, ‘Hey, are you ever going to work again?’”
The road back hasn’t been easy. “The reality is that there are a lot of parts I would like that just don’t come to me,” she says. “And that’s not how it used to be. But I have tried to make that a good thing, as opposed to feeling sorry for myself.” She has found some interesting roles, including a really impressive turn as an alcoholic lounge singer in Bobby, about the day Bobby Kennedy was assassinated.
Despite her admitted frustrations, Moore really does seem very content in the life she now has. It surely helps that she’s no longer the biggest star in the Hollywood firmament. If she does have concerns in her life these days, it’s about her children, and how they are treated by the tabloid media.
“Straight-out cruelty,” she says. “Things just mean and cruel, like saying they’re fugly. I’m talking about my 14-year-old, my 17-year-old, who aren’t choosing to be in the public eye. It’s very painful, as it would be for any parent, to have anybody say unkind or hurtful things about your children.”
Yet the truth is the press remains as fascinated by Moore and her family as it ever was. Of course, she added to the mystique, and created another social scandal, when she married the actor Ashton Kutcher in 2005, in a Kabbalah ceremony. He’s 16 years younger. “I’m certainly not the first woman to be with a younger man. So, once again, I had to wonder, ‘Is there something about me that seems to be making it such a big deal?’ I can’t answer that. I have no idea.”
She’s also surprised that the press seems shocked that she, Kutcher and Willis all seem to get along so swimmingly.
“Look, nobody goes into a marriage, particularly where you have children, thinking you’re going to end up divorced. So, being a child of divorced parents, I really wanted us to keep a close relationship. And having female children, I feel that the relationship they have with their father will affect every relationship they have with every man in their future. So I really wanted that to be a positive, loving relationship. Because we’re still a family. We’re just a family in a different form. And I’ll tell you, it’s a lot less work than being angry and bitter.”
Which is not, I thought as I said goodbye, the kind of grounded, well-meditated sentiment about life that your everyday Hollywood diva would have.

Neha Dhupia....Beauty with attitude

Neha Dhupia....Beauty with attitude
(NSI News Source Info) November 24, 2008: Neha Dhupia’s meteoric rise from a successful model to a Bollywood star has had its share of controversies which are always brushed aside by her. The long-legged beauty shies away giving a dekho into her personal life and prefers discussing her projects, preferences, co-stars and more. When asked about her love life, pat comes the reply, “It’s better if we talk about my upcoming movie Maharathi.”
So, we’ll begin with Maharathi. What about it?
It’s a thriller around a person who was murdered and everyone only wants to have a share in his property and the money he’s left behind. I got a chance to work with several veterans like Naseeruddin Shah and Boman Irani which was great for me. Of late we have been seeing you in a lot of multi-starrers.
When are we going to see you play the leading lady?
In Sivam Nayyar’s Maharathi.
Why didn’t Dasvadaniya work at the box-office?
Making a film work is not in my control. It depends on the audience. I choose my films before signing them and similarly, people choose which films they want to watch. But it’s a movie which is quite close to my heart. Some people are finding it hard to accept the new look you have adopted for Raftaar.
Your Comments?
I am enjoying my short hair. People have put me in a mould and I want to break that. In Raftaar you have a lovemaking scene with Emraan Hashmi.
Are you uncomfortable with intimacy onscreen?
There is no such scene. I don’t know where all this news comes from. It’s a media based thriller by Shamin Desai in which I a run a news channel.
How was the experience of working with Emraan?
He is a great person and we had fun shooting in Malaysia, Delhi and Bombay. I feel that in actual life one’s persona is quite different than what is portrayed about him or her on screen. So is the case with him.
Would you do a nude scene in a Hollywood film - even for a staggering amount?
No. Never!
Are you planning to settle down?
Not in the near future.
Who is the Bollywood or the Hollywood hunk whom you would love to date?
No one really, as I am quite happy with the current man in my life. (no names please).
Your favourite role till date?
My favourite role is that of Mahek Malwade in my upcoming movie Pappu Can’t Dance Saala as she is wild, clean-hearted and very colourful. You were forcibly kissed by Richard Branson during a promotion event recently which left quite a few eyebrows raised.
What had actually happened?
He didn’t kiss me, he just lifted me unexpectedly. It just happened on the spur of the moment. It was just two people having fun together. Media just sensationalises everything.

Kareena Kapoor gets curvy again

Kareena Kapoor gets curvy again
(NSI News Source Info) November 24, 2008: After almost emaciating herself to bones for her size-zero act in Tashan, Kareena Kapoor is regaining her bodily curves again.
What’s a woman without her curves, rightly said Bipasha Basu when she was asked to respond to the size-zero fad that had gripped certain Bollywood belles – Kareena Kapoor prominent among them – at the start of this year. Bebo (as Kareena is fondly called) had drawn a lot of flak for her anorexic look from many quarters even though some thought she looked “sexy” in her thin and almost skeletal body frame.
Now, Kareena is saying goodbye to size-zero and putting on some flesh to acquire her lost curves back.
She has already sported a healthy look for Kambakkth Ishq where she is paired with Akshay Kumar.
“My look is more voluptuous and sexy in ‘Kambakkth Ishq’ so I had to go on a different diet and exercise regime,” Kareena is quoted by a tabloid.Kareena says she even reduced her yoga exercises from seven days a week to three days.
But this is just the beginning. Kareena is set to become chubbier for the Karan Johar production in which she is romantically paired with beau Saif Ali Khan for the first time. In the movie, to be directed by Rensil D’ Silva, Kareena plays a Muslim girl. And to get a natural look, Karan has asked Kareena to shun all the weight-losing exercises and diets, and become chubby rather. Kareena also won’t wear any make-up for her role in the film.
So when Kareena leaves for the US schedule of the movie, she won’t be taking along any fitness trainer. In contrast, she would be munching to her heart’s delight. After all, gaining those curves is not as hard as losing them. Right, Bebo?

According to Priyanka, “Fashion has broken the myth that heroine-centric films don’t work.” The actress is riding high on her newly found success and is considering herself much above her female contemporaries.
When asked why a lot of attention shifted from her Dostana gold swimsuit to co-actor John Abraham’s butt, the actress exclaimed “I’m so glad that it did.
There’s no woman left to compete with... so now I’m competing with the boys.”

Zayed's slapping nightmare

Zayed's slapping nightmare
(NSI News Source Info) November 23, 2008 - New Delhi: When Bollywood actor Zayed Khan had to slap Anil Kapoor for a scene in Subhash Ghai's Yuvvraaj, he felt insulted but carried off the act well, realising that it is all a part and parcel of his job - acting.

The show goes on: Showman Subhash Ghai is back with his musical extravaganza Yuvvraaj , which has the real life couple Salman, Katrina starring together for the third time on screen. They were earlier seen together in Maine Pyar Kyoon Kiya and Partner

"I never imagined I would slap Anil Kapoor. For me, Anil is like an elder brother and is very experienced. On a personal level, I felt insulted for having slapped him. But that's what acting is all about," Zayed said in an interview."
Actors do things ordinary people are not allowed to do sometimes. It's the nature of the job," he added.
In Yuvvraaj, which is about sibling rivalry, Zayed has played the role of a materialistic man, who is driven by excess money and power. Despite the presence of industry bigwigs like Anil, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Zayed said his presence will be felt in the film."
Your presence must be felt by your performance, by how good you make it and how confident you are of yourself. I never felt their presence in the film was threatening because my biggest asset on sets is that I consider myself a student."
Whenever I am working with seniors, I give them their space but once I am in my zone, I forget who is senior, junior, big, small, and I just come in to my own workspace," he said.
Barring films like Main Hoon Na, Shabd and now Yuvvraaj, Zayed has mostly acted in action films. He made his debut in 2003 with Chura Liya Hai Tumne and went on to do others like Dus, Cash, Rocky: The Rebel, Fight Club and Mission Istanbul.
With a family drama like Yuvvraaj, the actor says director Ghai has made him fall in love with acting once again."
While shooting for Yuvvraaj, I was arguing with Subhashji over one or two things and then he came up, discussed the scene and explained it to me. When I saw the outcome on the monitor, I thanked him for making me love acting all over again," said Zayed.
He explained: "I am a physical actor. I have the ability to jump on a horse, scuba dive, jump from a mountain. I can do all of that, considering the kind of sporty guy I am. But I did forget the essence of acting between all this. As an action hero, I feel one cannot really portray the full potential."For Zayed, Yuvvraaj has become a turning point in his career."
When a director of calibre like Subhash Ghai asked me politely 'Zayed, I want you to do this role', I think it says something about my nature towards my job and of course I want the film to do so well that it becomes a milestone," he said.

There is no justice in jail: Sanjay Dutt

There is no justice in jail: Sanjay Dutt
(NSI News Source Info) November 23, 2008 - New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt, who has been behind bars on four occasions in the last 17 years, says "everything is injustice in jail" due to the prison manual dating to the days of British colonial rule.

Sanjay Dutt married Manyata in February this year in Goa

The outdated rules and regulations make prisoners "dehumanized...less like human beings", according to Dutt."
Everything is injustice in jail. It is (expected to be) a reformatory centre. It's not a place where you turn an innocent man into a criminal but that is what happens in the jails in our country," Dutt said while speaking at a leadership summit here on Saturday.
The interactive session was titled "Leadership Lesson from Munnabhai" after Dutt's iconic character from the hit films Munnabhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai."
The jail manual is 100 years old and it has not been changed till today. That (the manual) was for the British to prosecute the Indians, break our will and treat us like dogs and that has continued."
The versatile actor also spoke from the heart and narrated his own experiences behind bars."
I was locked up on Independence Day from noon till seven the next morning despite wanting to celebrate it. The jail manual says that prisoners shouldn't be locked up on any holiday."
When I asked for a spoon with the usual mug and plate that you get there, I was told that there is no such provision in the jail manual. It (the manual) was (meant) to break the Indians down by the British. These things should change now," he said."
I couldn't meet my spouse (Manyata - though they were not married then). A person who is convicted can meet his spouse only once a month and that too because mine was a special request I got to meet her alone - unlike others where 20 prisoners meet their families in one room. I could meet my lawyer (Satish Maneshinde) only for a brief moment and that too in my cage and I couldn't talk as I had cops standing all around."
Manyata, who was also present at the summit, nodded and also shared with the audience her travails. While in jail, Dutt, true to his image of Munnabhai, a lovable rogue, also took up cudgels on behalf of other inmates."
I was with some sardars in jail and there was a guy called Pyada Singh. He was there for nine years under trial. He was caught for possession of a firearm for which he had a license. I called his lawyer to my court (during my hearing) and I warned him about going to the press and he got bail. The lawyer was making money all this while," Dutt recalled amid applause from the audience.
Dutt was convicted for illegally possessing arns in the run-up to the 1993 serial bombings in Mumbai. Soon after the blasts, he was arrested and jailed for 18 months.
Dutt candidly admitted that it was not easy for him to fight on his own at the time of his last imprisonment last year - unlike his previous experiences in prison when he was backed by his late father, actor and MP Sunil Dutt."
As long as dad was alive, I knew he'll be there for me. But this time, when I went to jail there was no dad and I realized that I was the oldest in the family and I have to work around and thanks to my wife and family, I could," he observed.

Kareena Kapoor to sizzle in bikini again

Kareena Kapoor to sizzle in bikini again
(NSI News Source Info) November 23, 2008: She may no longer be size-zero, but Kareena Kapoor is ready to slip into a tiny bikini for an underwater scene in ‘Kambakkth Ishq’.
After flaunting her hot bod in a lemon yellow bikini in Tashan, Kareena is set to drop her clothes again. This time for producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s most expensive project to date, Kambakkth Ishq , starring Akshay Kumar as a Hollywood stuntman.
For this particular underwater sequence a costly set has been erected in the suburbs of Mumbai, where a swimming pool was reportedly vacated.
Noted Acropolis group of set designers were hired to create a natural set where acrylic mountains and pool-water were given the look of real mountains and blue waters of the sea.
Not only will Kareena be seen in bikini for this scene, Khiladi Kumar will also sport a Baywatch look, getting into shorts for the scene. It is heard that the fitness freak actor is working on his body for a better toned look.
