He is a music director, singer and even an actor, but what he wasn't and now is, is a Music Publisher, and not just any, but one who has global aspirations.

While his international album At Da Edge is all set to release in 122 countries, Himesh Reshmmiya' publishing company HR Musik Limited is all set to launch a talented group of singers, lyricists, composers and musicians. Himesh has big plans for this venture and intends it to be the biggest music content provider in all languages globally.

Himesh is ready to seed the industry with new, promising talent and hopes to move this industry's focus from individual talent to something that fits international standards. He seeks to provide the next generation music that would be created under Himesh's guidance and finesse, thereby assuring quality control.

HR Musik Ltd. will also be producing films, albums and singles and will be launching in 2011 with its content.

As far as his acting career goes, Himesh wasn't happy with the way things shaped up with his last release Kajraare. Instead of a proper big screen release, the film was given a DVD release after a single show played in a single screen. Learning from past, Reshammiya is now extra cautious about his upcoming Studio 18 project Ishk Unplugged starring him and Sonal Sehgal. He plans to be in complete know how involving this one as the film is complete and ready for release.

Else, how would you explain the fact that even at the age when he is supposed to be playing father's roles to heroines, he is one of the most sought after actor (read 'hero') in Bollywood... Well, the histrionics of the global phenomenon (he can be called so, courtesy Slumdog Millionaire) doesn't end there. Not too long ago we had reported that Anil was approached for a prominent role in the hit action series Mission: Impossible for its fourth installment. Though at that time, details of his role were a bit sketchy and with no confirmation from the studio or the actor's end, it was rumoured that he would play either the villain or a major supporting role. However, now it is learnt that his role in MI4 will feature him playing the role of an Indian playboy called Brij Nath, who is armed with international connections in high places al la the original Playboy Huge Hefner! News is also afloat that Anil, who will be having some steamy scenes with Paula Patton, will be shooting for the film from next month in Dubai. On the 'desi' front, market is abuzz with the rumor that Anil will be seen in a negative character in Priyadarshan's forthcoming thriller flick Tezz. Well, this man's 'roll' does not end there, for rumor also has it that Anil might also star in Vikramaditya Motwane's next which it to be produced by Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap.

Sonam’s sickness leaves a big hole in the producer’s pocket

The Masakalli gal Sonam Kapoor, is feeling much better now after her recovery from typhoid. But her illness and her consequent inability to be present on the shoot of Mausam has almost shaved producer’s head and pocked. The loss is rumoured to be around Rs 75 lakh.

An entire set for Mausam, directed by Shahid Kapoor’s father, Pankaj Kapur, had to be dismantled in Mumbai recently.

“Some romantic scenes of Sonam and Shahid had to be shot. But since Sonam went on sick leave for a long period, we had no option but to cancel the October shoot. The dismantling of the set caused a big loss to the producer,” says a source.

Adds the source, “The next schedule will now be shot in Gwalior. Sonam might be required but only for a few scenes.”

When contacted, Talwar confirmed, “Sonam couldn’t shoot since she was down with typhoid. We had to dismantle a set in Mumbai and lost Rs 75 lakh. But it’s okay. What is important is that Sonam is better now. No problem about the money. We are insured on that, we’ll recover that at a later date.

And of course, we’ll shoot the Mumbai schedule very soon, but that’s only after we complete the Gwalior shoot.”

We’ve always wondered if Saif and Kareen will get married and have always been curious about their wedding plans.

But recently at the press meet of their latest brand endorsement, Metro Shoes, Saif revealed, “No plans to get married at the moment. We are caught up with our professional commitments in life.”

Speaking about their association with Metro Shoes, Kareena said, “Metro Shoes is a great brand. What’s special is that they chose Saif and I to work together. We are both very happy & excited.”

About endorsing a brand together with Kareena, Saif said, “We want to brand ambassadors of many products but they also should be ready to work with us. We are happy to work together. But it should be in the right dose. The audience shouldn’t get fed up, which is quite easy to do with celebrity couples.”

Saif and Kareena will next be seen together on screen in AGENT VINOD which is scheduled for a release soon.
