She is soon going to return to India and start work for Mani Ratnam’s next film ‘Raavan’. Ash plays a classical singer in this contemporary Hindi take on the ‘Ramayana’ and to look convincing for the role Ash will take classical singing lessons. It may be mentioned here that Shabana Azmi took singing lessons to prepare for her role of a singer in ‘Morning Raga’. The film will see Ash sharing screen again once again with hubby Abhishek.
