Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin is so smitten with the British supermodel he splashed out on the exclusive residence in Jardins, Sao Paolo, as a "gift" for her, according to the New York Post newspaper.
A source said: "Naomi told Vladimir how much she loved Brazil and that she really wanted to settle down there. So he bought her the apartment, and said it was a gift for her. They will use it as their base when they are in Brazil together."
Naomi, 38, and Vladimir were first linked after they met at France's Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
The couple have since been photographed hugging and sharing intimate gazes by Brazilian newspaper O Dia.
A source said: "Vlad, as he is called by his friends, is one of the richest property developers of his country."
