2008 Emmy Award Winners
(NSI News Source Info) September 22, 2008: In what’s being considered one of the funnier awards shows in the recent past, the 60th annual Primetime Emmy Awards took over Los Angeles, being held at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday night (September 21).
Keeping consistent with the nominations, the night saw HBO’s miniseries John Adams, as well as NBC’s comedy 30 Rock and AMC’s drama Mad Men, take home the most trophies.

On an individual note, Jeremy Piven, Tina Fey, Laura Linney, Paul Giamatti and Glen Close were among the night’s big winners - all taking home trophies.
