(NSI News Source Info) Monday - September 8, 2008 New Delhi: The makers of the much-awaited Akshay Kumar - Deepika Padukone starrer Chandni Chowk To China have been toying around with the idea of releasing this film around Christmas this year, but the latest buzz is that the film has now been pushed to January next year. In fact, the makers, Warner Bros., would be coming out with ads on September 9, 2008 in all the leading newspapers announcing the new release date of Chandni Chowk To China. September 9 incidentally also happens to be Akshay Kumar s birthday. The film has been inspired by Akshay s real-life story. Akki is a boy from Chandni Chowk who goes to Bangkok as a cook. Before making his mirthful martial-arts film, Nikhil Advani, the director, sat down with his leading man Akshay Kumar and watched several karate flicks. So, the die-hard Akki fans will have to wait a little longer to know when the star s next action-comedy flick, Chandni Chowk To China, will release.
