Revealed: Mallika Sherawat’s Diet

Revealed: Mallika Sherawat’s Diet
21 Jul, 2008: We have heard stories of Madonna taking her personal chef along with her whenever she’s globetrotting. We have heard stories of Jennifer Lopez painting the town white with her snow-white obsession. But now we have our very own Indian Diva Mallika Sherawat in the same league with her set of preferences and rules of dos and don’ts. The actress is currently back in news with her films Ugly aur Pagli and Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam lined up for release. Mallika Sherawat who no more interacts with the media is a demanding actress today. And by that we don’t just mean money-wise. If industry insiders are to be believed Mallika Sherawat has clearly defined her list of essentials while shooting, especially when she is asked to attend shows like Sa Re Ga Ma, which invariably work as promotional events for her films. She doesn’t consume anything apart from Evian, four bottles of which are mandatory for all her shoots. For the uninitiated, Evian is the most renowned international mineral water brand coming straight from the Swiss Alps. She emphasizes that each bottle should be at room temperature and the ones that are chilled are returned back. While in the summer heat Mallika insists on the choicest mangoes and its not the Alphonso, but the humble Hapoos . If any one comes from the other mango breeds of Kesar or Langda , it has to be instantly replaced with the king brand. You might have heard of Bipasha Basu surviving on oranges for four days during Dhoom 2 and Kareena Kapoor being on sugar-free diet for Tashan but Mallika goes a step ahead. Her daily intake comprises of one and a half kgs of sweet lime and one full watermelon. While the actress has given up on all inorganic food, she maintains a fiber supplement in her daily intake and the fruit platter surely keeps her skin radiating. Now you know the secret behind Mallika’s dashboard abs. For some it might sound as starry tantrums. For others it’s her daily discipline. Take it the way you want. Mallika will maintain her royal class!
