Dhoni to make his Bollywood debut
(NSI News Source Info) December 17, 2008: After a winning streak on the cricket field, Indian skipper M S Dhoni might soon be seen playing a character in a forthcoming David Dhawan film.
David Dhawan's next directorial venture Hook Ya Crook will go on the floors next month. A UTV Motion Pictures production Hook Ya Crook stars John Abraham in the lead alongwith R. Siddharth, who last appeared in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Rang De Basanti in 2006.Reportedly, Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni is also playing a role in the film.
However, sources in UTV Motion Pictures said nothing has been finalized so far. Mahi has already created quite a buzz on the small screen through his numerous adverts. It'll surely be a treat to see him on big screen. The female lead is likely to be Genelia D'Souza, sources said.
Written by award winning writer Rensil D'Silva of Rang De Basanti fame, Hook Ya Crook is Dhawan's first movie to be launched after the success of Salman Khan starrer Partner. This will be John Abraham's second movie with UTV Motion Pictures after Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, and Dhoni's first of course!
