It's part of a push by Disney to familiarize Indian kids with the Mouse as well as to promote other Disney projects in the region. For instance, the live show co-stars characters from Disney's first Indian project, "Roadside Romeo." "The show is an effort to build a family entertainment brand in India," a Disney spokesperson told the Indian news site afaqs.com. "We are increasing the relevance of our stories and characters to the local audience." The Afaqs story added that Disney has been doing outreach at the country's schools and malls.
