Unfortunatley her first four releases starting with Love Story 2050 followed by God Tussi Great Ho, Drona and Chamku bombed at the box office.
Priyanka was about to be labeled as jinxed at the box office when Fashion happened. Playing a small town girl who works her way up the showbiz ladder, Priyanka was appreciated for her commendable performance. While she was busy accepting bouquets for Fashion, another whiff of good fortune came her way with Dostana. Though the lead male pair of Abhishek and John ate up lot of the limelight, Priyanka didn't go unnoticed either. She managed to hook our stares with her lissome figure and the gorgeous bikini act.
Voila! The almost jinxed box office dud became the toast of the town.
Now she has been cast opposite some five heroes in what's supposed to be a casting coup by Sameer Karnik. As they say it never rains, it always pours! Who better than Piggy Chops to vouch for this. The sultry actress has been offered Lanka by the makers of Heroes. The list of actors cast opposite Priyanka includes some of the biggest names of Bollywood like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan and Bobby Deol. That's one heck of a list indeed! She will also be seen opposite Shahid Kapur in Vishal Bhardwaj's Kaminey.Now that's what we call a real reversal of fortune!
