(NSI News Source Info) Mumbai - November 17, 2008: Bollywood’s superfluous Khan-spat, that has divided the industry into two camps, has time and again been scrutinised by the media. Shah Rukh and Salman both have a different story to share. And what followed was a rift in the industry. Mutual friends Rani Mukerjee and Kareena Kapoor also had to bear the brunt. But, looks like Salman is way too emotional about the loathsome episode at his ladylove Katrina’s birthday bash. Having said that the industry has been divided into two camps, both Shah Rukh and Salman have ignored several events in the past for the fear of facing each other in such occasions. The once ‘good friends’ Salman and SRK have often publicised their displeasure. But, obviously the two had never predicted things would have taken such an ugly turn. In an interview to the media, a tearful Salman voiced displeasure on his family attending the SRK parties. “If they want to participate in SRK’s family events they are more than welcome to do that. But don’t you think that it’s a kind of a joke that from one side it’s straight from the heart one family and from one family it’s straight from the brain? Oh yeh Salman ke behalf pe aa rahe hai so he (Salman) looks like a fool. Yeh sabko bulaya gaya, yeh sab aayenge, they are all here, so Salman must be wrong. Because my family is socializing at SRK’s family events!” Salman then went on to state that it was actually SRK who publicised the whole issue, “As soon as Shahrukh left the party, he started calling up the media! I didn’t speak till one week after the fight because he was trying to put me in the middle of something which is not cool from any angle! That is the time I stood up and started speaking. There is no reason for disrespect. Everybody messes up. I have also messed up, not once but so many times, without any malice, any manipulation or agenda. If things go wrong between two buddies we say 'okay buddy let’s hang out together and sort it out' but if you are going to mess up and disrespect me then forget it.” Well, let’s just hope the two patch-up and things don’t stride from bad to worse!
